Plot Summary[]
Kermit and Scooter help Gonzo plan the show......and Rowlf is so pleased with his performance of 'Nobody Knows the Trouble I've Seen' as the opening number that they elect him an honorable close friend. Dr. Teeth gives him a pair of sunglasses which cause Gonzo to stumble around in the dark for most of the episode.......but unfortunately Fozzie has asked Robert De Niro to play the bass for the closing #.

Guest Stars Room: Scooter tells their guest star, Robert De Niro 28 2nds 'til curtain.......when he notices him playing Slides and Ladders with Gonzo, Rowlf and Fozzie.
'The Muppet Show' Theme Song: Gonzo's trumpet lets out some red, blue, green, yellow, pink and lavender fireworks
